"Far From Premier!"
My wife and I stayed at the Premier Inn Leicester Square for two nights and unfortunately the condition and cleanliness of the room fell well below what we would normally expect from Premier Inn.
There were multiple cleanliness and maintenance issues throughout the room which became increasingly disappointing over the course of the stay. We documented these with photographs and later raised a formal complaint with Premier Inn’s Executive Team, who acknowledged that the room had fallen below their expected standards and that housekeeping checks had failed to identify the issues before our arrival.
One frustration was the repeated emphasis placed on the fact that we did not complain during the stay itself. However, we were out for much of the visit and mainly used the room for sleeping. By the time the cumulative issues had fully become apparent, it was late on the final evening and raising the matter at that point would itself have caused significant disruption.
To Premier Inn’s credit, they did apologise and offered a partial refund as a goodwill gesture. However, on a stay costing £275, the refund amounted to £54, which we felt did not fully reflect the number of issues identified and subsequently acknowledged during the complaints process.
Sadly, unlike previous Premier Inns my wife and I have stayed at, we felt this hotel relied heavily on its excellent location rather than maintaining the standards we would normally associate with the brand.
The location of the hotel is excellent, but based on this experience we did not feel the room reflected the standard expected for the price paid. For that reason, I would recommend that guests thoroughly inspect their room upon arrival and raise any concerns immediately, as this may help avoid difficulties should issues need to be addressed later.

"Our 2nd Stay Here - London Leicester Square"
Fantastic location for central London & theatre District. Friendly professional staff. Great breakfast choice & quality, comfortable beds & air conditioning for hot summer nights.

"Great location and staff. Needs a little decor work."
Hotel location is great for the theatres and many attractions. The decor and cleanliness could be better. We paid for a premium room, the only difference was a coffee machine and mini fridge. They did supply two bottles of water and two small chocolate bars. It was very hot out so the air-conditioning and fridge were great. Probably wouldn't pay the premium in less hot weather. Decor in room 408 in need of attention, especially the bathroom. Breakfast typically Premier Inn, could have been warmer. The staff in the hotel were really great. I would stay again ideally after some decorating.

"Good Mid-Priced Hotel in Great Location"
This is a mid-price chain hotel, similar to a Holiday Inn, so temper your expectations. Having said that, the location is fantastic, on Leicester Square a couple blocks from Chinatown, Trafalgar, Picadilly and the West End theatres. Lots of restaurants and shops within a few minutes walk. The staff is quite good and attentive. They sorted my reluctant air conditioner and were quite cheerful and professional. The room is tiny and quirky (bathroom mirror at waist height due to sloping bathroom walls), but sleep quality was fine. The wifi is weak (no streaming videos) but serviceable. The breakfast is pretty good, starts at 6:30am (although it was still being set up at that hour), and the walls are unfortunately decorated with advertisements for the hotel itself (please management, can't you go out and buy a few posters of London landmarks instead of advertising a restaurant where your patrons are literally sitting??) Overall a good mid-priced hotel. I'd go back, but I'd also explore the competition in the area.

"Dirty rooms."
Our trip to London was very much overshadowed by the dirty air conditioning unit which was spitting out black dust and spores and the bathroom ceiling was covered in mould. Staying with 2 young children who coughed all night as a result was a nightmare. The morning of our second day I spoke to receptionist Nazira who was disinterested and offered me a 'deep clean' or check out, put all our belongings in storage and check back into another room later on. I opted for the deep clean incase we needed to come back to give our children a rest throughout the day. When we returned to the premmier inn later that afternoon I was informed by the house keeping manager that a deep clean could not be completed due to the strength of the chemicals. We were eventually offered a new room by the hotel manager and that room was fine.
I contacted guest relations on return from our stay to inform them about the filth in the first room and being fobbed off my the disinterested receptionist but despite us all leaving with a cough due to the mould and spores this was not enough for them to implement their "good night guarantee". If you are travelling with children, or value your health AVOID.
